Collect Tasmanian art with an interest-free loan

interest free loan scheme to purchase artworks by Tasmanian artists.

About

Want to start collecting contemporary Tasmanian artwork or add to your existing collection?

The COLLECT Art Purchase Scheme offers 12 month, interest-free loans to approved Australian residents to fund the purchase of contemporary artworks by Tasmanian artists.

Available through 22 different galleries across the state, you can buy any two or three-dimensional artworks including paintings, drawings, sculpture, installations, glasswork, textiles, metalwork, woodwork, jewellery, furniture, ceramics, photographs, film and video, new media and limited edition prints.

Any artwork by a Tasmanian living artist from a participating gallery that retails between $550 and $11 500 is eligible. The minimum amount you can borrow with a COLLECT loan is $1 000 and the maximum is $8 500.

So, if you see something that you like on your travels, don’t leave the state without it!
