杨青 Qing Yang (Jane)

A unique style developed combining Chinese and Western painting methods.

About

“There is a sight which is more majestic than the sea. It is the sky. And there is a sight which is more majestic than the sky. It is the inside of a man’s soul.”

Tasmania’s beautiful natural parks, wild landscape and beaches are the main sources of inspiration for my landscape paintings.

Carefully listening to the flowers’ whispers and enjoying the creating of still life paintings, my focus is on the “Lotus/Water lily” as a subject.

After several decades of studying both Chinese and Western painting methods and theory, I now combine them both to produce my unique style.
