Deb St Leger

About

Experimentation is the foundation of Deb’s art practice. Her work draws on a variety of sources for its inspiration. The figurative work explores ideas of identity/masking identity, dance and dogs. The abstract work uses textures, lettering, calligraphic gestures layered in various media. There is woven paper work and drawing where weaving lines and strips of colour into complex forms create works which appear to float in space. Recently Deb has started experimenting with printmaking techniques.
