Effie Pryer BA UTAS, Masters in Conservation at University Melbourne and studies Europe. Effie has demonstrated outstanding handling in the portraiture genre and has received awards and accreditation on a national level including RACT Portraiture Prize, Manning Prize, Qantas Young Achievers Art Awards and Black Swan Portraiture Prize 2017.

Effie’s depth of studies have given her a perspective of the periods of art and historical reference, while at the same time her paintings provide insights to the sitter and the emotive language of the portrait. The painter asks questions then resolves these thoughts through visual keys.
