Kerry Thompson began making works in paint while enjoying a successful career as a professional cartoonist (including drawing for The Sydney Morning Herald), illustrator and author under her nom de plume, “Kerry Millard”.
Colour plays a large part in Kerry’s practice which varies widely in style from canvas to canvas as she discovers new ways of freezing moments in paint.
A finalist in the 2017 Glover Prize, Kerry’s work has been included in over 40 solo and group shows and exhibitions in Australia and South Korea, and hangs in Australia, Canada, and New York City.
