Lucia Usmiani

Unique sculptures formed from a variety of found and recycled items


Lucia Usmiani was born in Adelaide, South Australia. She lives and works in Hobart, Tasmania and was awarded Doctorate in Fine Art from the University of Tasmania in 2006.

Lucia’s unique sculptures are formed from a variety of found and recycled items including aluminium cans, matches, plastic and paper.

Many of Lucia’s sculptures are held as part of the IXL Henry Jones Art Hotel’s permanent collection in Hobart, as well as those of numerous private collections nationally.
