Nathaniel Hiller is an emerging Tasmanian artist who paints landscapes in acrylics.
Inspired by his home state’s coastal environment, Nathaniel’s work is bright and vibrant, exploring colour and movement and depicting the Tasmanian landscape in a memorable, impressionistic style.
After receiving a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Tasmania, Nathaniel returned to university, finding his calling in graphic design and drawing at The Tasmanian School of Art at Hunter Street.
Following graduation Nathaniel spent 15 years in Melbourne and Brisbane working in advertising agencies and returned to Tasmania with his young family six years ago, where he now works as the Creative Director at a marketing and public relations consultancy.
Nathaniel has taken part in joint exhibitions for many years at Wrest Point Casino and The Freeman Gallery, as well as exhibiting in galleries in Richmond, Melbourne and recently received a highly commended in the 2019 Kingborough Art Prize.
Nathaniel’s work is available for purchase via his website and he also does commissions.
