Sebastian Galloway

Sebastian Galloway is an engaging artist who has been a finalist in a number of portrait prize awards.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Tasmania in 2013, he has since worked in the arts rich environment of the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA).

This has influenced a keen attention to observation which has further developed his own practice and has allowed an enhanced ability in his painting.

Galloway is now presenting a new body of works, as he has turned to the quiet motif of birds in our locale, their individual characters, the delicacy of colours, and their fine feathers and down.
