Stuart Clues, born in Tasmania in 1968, is one of the state’s most recognised artists. Stuart predominately paints abstract land-and-seascapes which capture the vast array of moods Tasmania offers from its coastal plains to its rugged interior. The east and south west coast of Tasmania are a particular passion of his.

Stuart has been painting for over 20 years and has been recognised by several art prizes and attracted many commissions. His work hangs in both public and private collections throughout Australia and overseas including New York, Denver, London, Ireland, Singapore, Canada and New Zealand.
