Tim Price

Tim Price is a contemporary Tasmanian painter

About

Tim Price is a contemporary painter who makes marks inspired by vintage video games. Pixillated surfaces combine with linear bubble drawing, evoking perceptual complexity. An instinctive colourist, Tim weaves his brushstrokes in the manner of an Islamic carpet, making pattern as he goes and flattening the world. His works immerse their protagonists in an environment of action, sound and colour.
