Kristyn Harman is a social historian who lectures in Aboriginal Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Tasmania. Kristyn’s research interests include contact history across the British Empire, domesticity at colonial frontiers, warfare, and experiences of captivity (including convicts and prisoners of war). Kristyn was the winner of the AHA Kay Daniels Award in 2014 for her contribution to the study and writing of history in Australia.
