Beyond Woop Woop features a captivating series of paintings created by John Kelly on a trip to the frozen continent. John travelled far south and painted most of these new works in the open Antarctic air. Venturing to isolated locations in extreme (and effing freezing) conditions, he pushed his body and artistic endurance to the limit. Beyond Woop Woop was part of TMAG’s exhibition program in 2016.
Interesting note: John Kelly was commissioned by David Walsh to design the Moo Brew labels for MONA.
