Gallery Salamanca is located in the arts precinct along Salamanca Place. It is an established gallery and shop that specialises in high quality Tasmanian contemporary art, craft and design. They represent over 90 artists and makers working in many mediums including ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, timber and visual arts.

Gallery Salamanca’s mission is to support and serve artists and craftspeople by engaging the community through the sale of arts and crafts and the promotion of exhibitions in Hobart. Their purpose is to support, preserve and commemorate Australian, specifically Tasmanian, handmade works and their makers.
