The Henry Jones Art Hotel

About

The Henry Jones was Australia’s first art hotel and features original contemporary artworks by emerging and established Tasmanian artists. Original paintings, prints, works on paper, photo media and sculpture and design objects feature throughout the Hotel and are available for sale. The artists represented are graduates from the Tasmanian College of the Arts, independent artists and artists represented by selection of Hobart’s commercial galleries.

The Henry Jones also offers daily art and history tours, which cover the history of the site and artwork on display. Bookings are essential.

The Henry Jones Art Hotel is part of the COLLECT Art Purchase Scheme that offers Australian residents interest-free loans to purchase artworks by contemporary Tasmanian artists. Ask the gallery for details or visit www.collect-art.com.au for more information.
