Josh Foley painted the walls outside the Animal Medical Centre in Charles St Launceston as part of a Corporate Art Scheme public art commission. He used the most popular breeds of animals to the centre and created a design that has a flow and dynamism that activates the wall in a harmonious way.
Artist statement:
“The animals intertwine into each other through their hair which morphs from different types of hair into another, long hair dog – to short hair cat etc. I have also kept in mind the progression of the different colours of fur and eye colours so that there is a logical and interesting progression of hues that will effectively frame and enhance the building about and surrounding area.” Josh Foley, 2016
