Fire on the Ridge – Woodfire Exhibition + Sale

Fire on the Ridge – an exhibition and sale featuring the work of Ridgeline’s current SWIPE resident Tom Alward from UTAH State University and Ridgeline’s own Ben Richardson.

Tom is the third SWIPE (Slow Working Institute of Pragmatic Expressionism) resident, and has been living and working ‘on the Ridge’ for 8 weeks over May – June 2016. Tom has been exploring the wealth of local materials that surround the Ridge, experimenting with form and process. Having an artist in residence on the Ridge also gives the Ben the chance to respond and explore new conversations and inspiration in making techniques.

This exhibition will feature works that are fresh out of the wood kiln, which is being filled and fired over two weeks in June.
