All the Things showcases two artists’ fascination with stuff.

Jacob Leary and Ariel Ruby explore ideas of excess, hyper-objects and notions surrounding an object-orientated sublime.

Their collaborative installation focuses on an understanding that objects have their own compact inner lives, activated with their own vitality.

All the Things is a series of sculptural works producing a dense, kinetic, object-based ecosystem. The artists invoke a magical depth to the materiality of objects, alluding to a certain seductive relationship that draws us to things.

Exploring the thresholds of the real and the imaginary, the installation plays with the idea of embedded contradictions. The artists suggest that the identity of the world is one of contradiction – existing many places at once, both real and imaginary.
