Dark MeOwFO

Felicity Edwards and Margaret McAteer  have created feline themed images that are on display during the Dark MoFo festival. Edwards has captured  unique characteristics and temperaments of each cat portrait in richly coloured and patterned chalk pastel. The cats are rendered in dramatic dark tones , offset against lush red cushions and drapery.  McAteer has applied a stylised design sensibility to her hand cut screen prints, creating clever graphics about feline themed nursery rhymes and sayings. Both series of cat themed art are humorous and warm hearted.
