A collective exhibition with works by David Edgar in ‘Tasmanian interior’ and Andrea Barker in ‘Epicalyx’.
As a visual artist, David’s current practice explores relationships between the psychological self and experiences of being, the memory of place and landscape, mark making, and certain methodologies of visual art and film making.
Andrea Barker’s work is with gesture, quickly, essential information recorded into simple hand-built pinch pots. A three dimensional drawing of sorts, a dance. This exploration for now, is in porcelain, not so much for its whiteness but for its purity and sensuality.
