The Planterium at the Queen Victoria Musuem and Art Gallery at Inveresk is where you will see astronomical concepts demonstrated in ways that are both dramatic and scientifically accurate.

Situated in the Planetarium foyer is the exhibition, Southern Skies: Astronomy in Tasmania. It presents the story of Tasmanian astronomy and features many telescopes and other pieces of equipment that have been used for research in the state.
