An exhibition exploring the diverse impacts that food has on human society, through creative expression.

About

Tasmanian artists, researchers and educators present works in a variety of forms including painting, sculpture, photography, furniture, craft, installation and mixed media. Their interpretations of food and its social, economic and environmental impacts are fascinating, beautiful and deeply satisfying.

Artists: Diane Allison, Jack Birrell, Karina Clarke, Joanna Gair, Neil Haddon, David Hamilton, Marian Hosking, Meg Keating, Fiona Lehman, Anne MacDonald, Anne Morrison, Troy Ruffels, Yvette Watt and others.

Curators: Dr Malcom Bywaters, Dr Kim Lehman and Distinguished Professor Jeff Malpas.

Exhibition Opening: Friday 26 May at 6.00pm by Dr Kim Lehman, University of Tasmania.
