A Midlands Summer is the latest work by Tasmanian artist, Michael McWilliams. Michael is a popular artist with collectors snapping up the entire exhibition within 10 minutes of the release of the catalogue. The exhibition of works is still on show at Handmark Evandale until 22 December so drop in for your chance to see this incredible work in person before it heads out to its new homes.
Michael McWilliams works from his studio in Perth, outside of Launceston, Tasmania. He is a visual arts graduate from the University of Tasmania and he is represented by Handmark Gallery.
Michael is twice overall winner of the Waterhouse National History Art Prize, Museum of South Australia; winner of the Glover Art Prize and numerous other awards including finalist in the Wynne Prize, Art Gallery of NSW in 2008
and 2010.
