You’re a part of the furniture is an exhibition by Molly Turner of new works exploring the idea of home, comfort and showing how you express yourself as a person with the objects you choose to decorate your home with.

What if the toilet could be seen as a beautiful urn rather than something you place your bottom on, what if Norman Lindsays ‘Magic Pudding’ lived in your kitchen cupboard next to the Rosella tomato sauce? Do the kookaburra paintings on the wall protect you? Molly Turner wants to show that the home can be magical by crafting and replicating ornaments and decorations that she has had in various homes.
