Geoff Dyer is arguably Tasmania’s best-known contemporary painter. Through his expressive use of paint, Geoff captures the complexity and raw beauty that underpins the Tasmanian landscape experience. His large-scale paintings have become an important part ofTasmania’s cultural history.
In 2003,Geoff won theArchibald Prize with a portrait of writer, conservationist and friend, Richard Flanagan. Geoff has exhibited extensively throughout Australia, as well as in Singapore, Guangdong and New York. Geoff ’s paintings are held in many private, public and corporate collections including the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra.
