Works from the Devonport City Council’s Permanent Collection

The Devonport Regional Gallery has since 2011 focused on acquiring works by Tasmanian artists to build a Permanent Collection that is a unique and accumulative record of professional artistic activity within Tasmania. This exhibition showcases works that have been acquired through donations, the Tidal Award and the Devonport City Council acquisition fund from 2014 to 2020.

The represented artists are Rodney Pople, Anton Holzner, Kelly Austin, Lisa Garland, Gary Greenwood, Jessie Pangas, Nerida de Jong, Gerald Makin, Katherine Hattam, Anne Morrison Joel Crosswell and Julie Fragar.

When visiting the gallery please be aware that all regulatory requirements will be adhered to, including social distancing, and contact tracing will also be in place. Anyone who is unwell with cold or flu-like symptoms is encouraged not to visit.

Due to social distancing and limitations to visitor numbers there will be no opening or public events in conjunction with this exhibition.
