The group the Tasmanian Artists and Makers of the Huon,TAMOH,was formed to promote the professional artists and makers from Tasmania’s Huon Valley, through two on line platforms, facebook and instagram, with an annual physical exhibition. Opening on March 13th 2020 is their inaugaural exhibition at Home Hill Winery. This is an opportunity to see together in one place the diverse practice of five members :-painters Lysbeth Driessen and Henrietta Manning, potters Lisa Britzman and Bronwyn Clarke and weaver Karen Grady.
On March 13th join the artists at Home Hill for the opening at 6pm and the following optional two course ‘Dinner with the Artist’s’ [$60.00 pp booking enquiries 03 6264 1200 ] On opening night all diners and/or purchasers of artworks will go into the draw to win a fabulous prize of two nights accommodation at the Writers House, Frenchman’s River in Cygnet, to be drawn at the dinner. Meet the fable merchant Posie Graeme-Evans who will open the exhibition.
The exhibition runs daily from 10-5pm until March 27th with a further opportunity to meet the artists who will each be manning the exhibition on different days.
