Tasmanian Connections

Natural history and science displays covering everything from geology and dinosaurs to bushrangers and bicycles!

About

This gallery is a permanent exhibition of Tasmanian Natural Science and History displays at the Museum at Inveresk.

You will also discover the Museum’s extensive dinosaur collection, featuring giant skeletons and life-sized models and the tragic story of the Tasmanian Tiger – a remarkable and misunderstood animal.

The display also features objects recovered from the wreck of Australia’s oldest merchant shipwreck, The Sydney Cove, including the ship’s rudder and anchor.
