Tasmanian landscapes: a different perspective

Tasmanian landscapes taken from a different perspective

About

A collection of well known Tasmanian landscapes taken from a different perspective, by SAC Studio Artist Hannah Blackmore.

“I am very much inspired by the beautiful Tasmanian landscape, and enjoy using the colours as a starting point from which I add my own particular style. I like to throw light across an image, and in Tasmanian Landscapes I am exploring the concept of negative space. These painting have an area of intense activity, colour and detail, but they also have room to breathe. I want my work to evoke a sense of calm within the viewer.”
– Hannah Blackmore
