The Existence of Ghosts is an exhibition by Chi-Ling Tabart who works in timber to create detailed and hand crafted art sculptures. She combines imagination and sentiment to convey the impact of environment change in the islands of Taiwan and Tasmania.
“I moved from the island culture of Taiwan to the island culture of Tasmania. Living here I see the Impact of culture and human activities on both islands. Even though different space and different time, we share the same consequences of climate change, sea-level rise and animal extinctions. Ghosts seep from the scars.”
