The Magic of the Mountain invites audiences (whether adults or children) to have fun, let their imagination run wild and to discover the hidden magic of the world around them.  Inspired by Tasmanian native animals and their habitats, Aurore tells the story of Cradle Mountain and the Cradle Mountain – Lake St Claire national park through vibrant and energetic watercolour and coloured pencil illustrations.

Artist

Born in France, Aurore moved to Australia in her mid 20s, first to Western Australia and then to Tasmanian in 2012.  As a nature lover Aurore was blown away by the beauty of the Tasmanian wilderness.  Working in watercolour and coloured pencil, Aurore’s illustration is shaped by her love of the fantastic taking us into a magical world inspired by animals and their habitats. Through her illustration Aurore encourages audiences of all ages to have fun, let their imagination run wild and to discover the hidden magic of the world around them.
