Where I Am, Who I Am

An exhibition from emerging Tasmanian artist Zoe Grey.

About

The Devonport Regional Gallery’s Little Gallery Project Space will highlight Tasmanian artist, Zoe Grey with her exhibition Where I Am, Who I Am, opening Friday 20 April, 6 pm.

This exhibition explores the artist’s intimate experience and engagement with the landscape of the North West Coast of Tasmania and presents a pictorial equivalent for the complex sensation of being in, and a part of, place. The works immerse the viewer into the wild coastal landscape of Tasmania’s rugged north-western tip and investigate the artist’s deep connection to this isolated environment as her place of birth.

Zoe Grey is an emerging Tasmanian artist, who in 2016 achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Major in Painting), from the Tasmanian College of the Arts, Hobart.

The Little Gallery Project Space is available to emerging and early career contemporary Tasmanian artists and promotes experimentation in 2D and 3D art, critical thinking and engaging concepts.
