Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival 2018

The Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival is a not for profit incorporated association, with the objectives of establishing, operating and funding a classical music festival for Tasmania and showcasing the built heritage in Northern Tasmania.

Your Festival Package entitles you to 8 fabulous performances over 3 days, and an exclusive dinner in Australia’s grandest Georgian mansion, Clarendon House prior to the opening concert. Afterwards, enjoy a party at the newly refurbished Clarendon Arms Hotel in Evandale and the chance to meet all the Festival artists.

Saturday has three sensational concerts beginning with the Grigoryan Brothers in the atmospheric Uniting Church, followed by the Tinalley String Quartet in the new Woolmer’s Nigel Peck Centre, with afternoon tea amongst the famous Woolmer’s rose garden. Then an evening spent listening to the glorious music of Handel by candle-light in Christ Church, Longford.

On Sunday morning, special coaches will take Festival Package holders to the 3 concerts of Bach in the Barns and back to Josef Chromy Vineyard for a sumptuous lunch*, at which the three musicians will be in conversation with Christopher Lawrence.
