THEATRE NORTH AT THE PRINCESS PRESENTS AN AFTERNOON OF MUSICAL NOSTALGIA
2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli. To mark this historic occasion an afternoon of musical nostalgia will showcase the hit songs that were performed and sung throughout the first and second world wars.
Featuring Opera Australia star Tiffany Speight and one of Australia’s most dynamic tenors, Roy Best (finalist, ABC’s Operatunity Oz), Great Songs of the War Years will delight music lovers of all ages with timeless favourites from artists such as Vera Lynn and The Andrews Sisters.
Great Songs of the War Years will pay tribute to all who served our country in words and song. We’ll Meet Again, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Blue Moon and many more nostalgic hits … a wonderful Saturday afternoon’s entertainment at the Princess Theatre.
