Entering its sixth year, the Tasmania Sings program has given school children from around Tasmania the remarkable opportunity to work with many esteemed conductors. This year, we are privileged to welcome one of Australia’s most respected young choral conductors, Chris Burcin as guest conductor.
Featuring works by Australian composers including Paul Jarman and Stephen Leek, Tasmania Sings will showcase 400 performers, including 300 from 10 different Tasmanian schools, the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra, Aurora (Young Adelaide Voices), Collegiate Singers and the Australian Girls Choir.
