THEATRE NORTH AT THE PRINCES & THE JOHN GLOVER SOCIETY PRESENT THE 2015 GLOVER CONCERT
Australia’s richest annual prize for landscape painting, The Glover Prize, is synonymous with the historic township of Evandale. The four-day celebration brings lovers of fine art and music together to celebrate over the March long weekend. In 2015, the Glover Concert features a very special musical collaboration.
Typhoon 台风 is a contemporary music ensemble exploring new music from the Asia Pacific and beyond. Typhoon 台风 repertoire features the ensemble’s own compositions and arrangements, as well as the work of leading contemporary composers.
Concerts given by Typhoon 台风 conclude with a screening of a short animation prepared by Zeng Yi Gang, accompanied by an improvised score created ‘in the moment’ by the other members of the ensemble.
