An Ephemeral Art Project

The Ephemeral Art Project is one of the first public art projects of its kind in the state.

Linked to the Northern Transformation Program, the project reflects the University of Tasmania’s belief that it has an important role to play in providing community access to art and culture.

Created by artist Dr Linda Erceg, Morphologica is an evolving and expanding sculptural installation that will transform spaces throughout the Inveresk precinct over the period of a year.

Visitors are encouraged to explore Linda’s ‘growing seed points’ and think about the plastic materials used; their innate beauty and their potential for ecological damage.

Linda is looking forward to creating her artworks at Inveresk; keep an eye out for new growths and offshoots as they appear!
