If you have ever thought about writing a memoir, but you’re a bit overwhelmed knowing where to start, this short introduction is for you. With a strong emphasis on in class writing, over five weeks you’ll gain an understanding of both the process and the product.
While you won’t have a finished manuscript at the end, you will have plenty of material to keep working and a structure to guide you. Beginners are warmly welcomed.
Kylie Carman-Brown has a PHD in history from the Australian National University. Her thesis will be published by ANU Press this year. She has worked as a curator at the National Museum of Australia and as a research editor at the Australian Dictionary of Biography.
