Welcome to Kickstart Arts’ Creative Exchange: Workshops in Everything
Session Description:
This workshop is a great way to create a unique mirror for your house, or a gift for someone special.
You’ll learn all the skills required to complete a mosaic project, so you can continue creating mosaics at home. You’ll learn about which are the best tiles to use, where to get them, how to design and create a beautiful pattern, preparing and securing the tiles in place followed by grouting and cleaning techniques.
Everything will be provided.
What you’ll get:
- A beautiful, finished mirror mosaic of your own creation (approx. 30cm x 30cm)
- Printed handouts covering the process
- Inspiration and ideas for other mosaic projects you could try at home
What to bring:
- An apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Notebook and pen
- Lunch
