Have an idea you’d like to perform?
It could be performance poetry, a story, some stand up comedy, a skit, an entertaining rant – if you’ve got something to say, we want to help you say it! We take you through the process of writing your ideas, crafting and editing; taking it all from page to stage…
Finn O’Branagain and Scott Sandwich are part-time performance poets, full-time storytellers, double-time friends. Separately they are independent performance makers, who write, direct, perform and design sound.
Together they are Ten Tonne Sparrow – presenting The Epic – a fast-paced, comedic performance lecture, based in storytelling, pop-science and anthropology, and modern culture.
This workshop is suitable for high school students to more experienced writers – an opportunity to work on your performance techniques, write and perform poetry, adapt myths and legends for performance; or write your own mythology.
