Title: Ukulele Performance Course
Description: With the growing success of Kickstart Arts’ ukulele workshops, they have decided to take things one step further and offer a ukulele performance-focused session once a month!
Join a dedicated group of ukulele players and learn to play songs together in the Kickstart Arts Uke Collective!
The Collective will initially focus on playing through four songs during each session, and also include discussions around stage craft, microphone use, amplification (if required), lead and backing vocals, playing to your strengths, making a song stand out, audience participation, the value of silence, playing in time, and many more.

About Creative Exchange: Kickstart Arts value community skills and knowledge, so we started up Creative Exchange – Hobart’s newest destination for teaching, learning, sharing and collaborating!
About the teacher:
Johnny has a unique blend of life experience, philosophy, stage presence, and humour and has taught at TAFE colleges (Vic and Tas), Adult Education, and to community services for over a decade.
He has been making music for over 20 years and has accreditations in both music and teaching.
